Selection will be based on aggregated marks (out of 50) from the following components:
- Madhyamik / equivalent exam: 05 marks
- Higher Secondary / equivalent exam: 10 marks
- Training specified by NCTE: 15 marks
- Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): 05 marks
- Extra-Curricular Activities: 05 marks
- Viva-Voce / Interview: 05 marks
- Aptitude Test / Teaching Experience (for Para-Teachers): 05 marks
