Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the official notification for Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 to fill 413 vacancies across various departments (PWD, RWD, UD&H, PHED&WS, WRD, Hydro Power, Power, E&T, IT). Applications are invited from eligible diploma/degree holders via the APPSC online portal.

3-year Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer/IT Engineering (as per department). Final-year students may apply provisionally subject to producing pass certificate before viva.
Age Limit
18–35 years as on 10.10.2025. Relaxations: APST +5 yrs, PwBD +10 yrs (cumulative with APST allowed).
Exam Pattern & Selection Process
Paper-I: General Studies & Aptitude – 150 marks
Paper-II: Technical (Branch Subject) – 300 marks
Viva-Voce/Interview – 50 marks
Qualifying Marks: 33% aggregate in written + 20% per paper (PwBD: 20% aggregate + 11% per paper)
Negative Marking: 1/6 mark deducted for each wrong MCQ
Merit list prepared from total 500 marks (450 written + 50 viva)
PwBD Facilities

Permitted for eligible PwBD (B&LV, BA, Cerebral Palsy) with Appendix-I/II submission. Others on doctor certification.
Extra Time
20 mins per hour of exam for eligible PwBDs.
